Cookie Policy

Adoure  ·  Last updated: 7 June 2026

The short version: We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in and the Platform secure — these can't be switched off. We only set analytics cookies with your consent. We don't use advertising cookies and we don't sell your data. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom of any page.

1.What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as browser local storage — work in much the same way. They let a site remember your actions and preferences (such as keeping you signed in) over time.

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on the Adoure platform at adoure.co.uk (the “Platform”), why we use them, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

We group the technologies we use into two categories: essential (always on, because the Platform cannot function without them) and analytics (only used with your consent).

2.Essential Cookies

These are strictly necessary for the Platform to work and to keep your account secure. Under UK PECR they do not require consent, and they cannot be switched off through our cookie controls. They do not track you for marketing purposes.

Session / authenticationSet by NextAuth to keep you securely signed in. Expire when you close your browser or after a fixed period of inactivity.
CSRF protection tokenProtects against cross-site request forgery attacks when you submit forms or take actions on the Platform.
Cookie consent recordRemembers your cookie preferences (stored in your browser) so we do not ask you again on every visit.
StripeStripe sets cookies required for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. These are governed by Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies.

3.Analytics Cookies (With Consent)

With your consent, we use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the Platform is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, which features are used, and where errors or performance problems occur — so we can improve it. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally or to build an advertising profile.

Page viewsWhich pages are viewed and in what order, to understand common journeys.
Feature usageWhich features are used, to help us prioritise improvements.
Error & performanceDiagnostic data when something goes wrong or loads slowly, so we can fix it.

Analytics cookies are only set after you choose “Accept all” on the cookie banner. If you choose “Essential only”, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time (see Section 5).

4.Third-Party Cookies

Some of the providers we rely on to run the Platform may set their own cookies when their services are loaded. We only work with providers who handle data responsibly and under a data processing agreement. The main ones are:

StripePayment processing and fraud prevention on checkout and payment screens. Governed by Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies.
VercelHosting and (with consent) aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics about Platform usage.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers — see our Privacy Policy for the full picture on who we share data with and why.

5.How to Manage Your Cookies

You are in control of non-essential cookies. You can:

  • ·Change your preference at any time by clicking the cookie icon at the bottom of any page, then choosing “Accept all” or “Essential only”.
  • ·Control or delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or clear cookies for a specific site.
  • ·Withdraw consent for analytics at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

Please note that blocking essential cookies through your browser will prevent the Platform from working correctly — for example, you may be unable to stay signed in or complete a payment.

For more general information about cookies and how to manage them, visit allaboutcookies.org.

6.Changes and Contact

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the technologies we use or to legal requirements. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will highlight them on the Platform.
