How It Works
Adoure is built around one principle: every ranking is earned through real reviews from real couples. From your first search to the day itself, here's how the platform works.
Your Journey
Filter by category, location, style, budget, and experience. Every supplier verifies their business to list, and the Adoure Verified badge marks those our team has manually reviewed. Search results are ranked by Adoure Mark — the only metric that reflects quality.
Every supplier carries a score out of 50, built from certified reviews submitted by couples who actually booked them. Five dimensions. Each out of 10. The number tells you, at a glance, how a supplier performs on the things that matter most.
Our team verifies every review against a confirmed booking before it counts. No anonymous submissions. No incentivised reviews. No review exchanges. What you read on a supplier's profile is exactly what happened.
Send an enquiry through Adoure's built-in messaging system. Share your date, venue, headcount, and budget. Keep your conversation history in one place — no email chains, no searching for attachments.
When a supplier confirms your booking, Adoure automatically generates a standard contract. The 3-stage payment schedule kicks in: 25% deposit to secure your date, 50% at 90 days before the wedding, 25% final payment at 14 days. Every payment goes through Stripe.
Your wedding dashboard tracks every supplier — their status, what's been paid, what's outstanding. Group chat connects you, your partner, and all your suppliers so nothing falls through the cracks. After your wedding, leave a certified review that helps the next couple.
The Adoure Mark
Every Adoure Mark is calculated from certified reviews. Each review scores the supplier across five dimensions — out of 10 each. The Adoure Mark is the average across all certified reviews, giving a total out of 50.
A supplier with a 44.3 from 18 reviews is telling you something different from a supplier with a 49.1 from 2 reviews. The score and the review count together tell the full story.
The quality of what they delivered.
How responsive and clear they were.
Whether you felt safe in their hands.
Flexibility and responsiveness when needed.
Whether the experience matched the price.
Certified Reviews
The word is everywhere. On Adoure, it means something specific.
A couple books a supplier through Adoure. The booking is logged in the system with a unique contract reference.
After the wedding date passes, Adoure sends a review request to the couple — linked to their specific booking.
The couple rates the supplier across five dimensions and leaves a written review. The review is tied to the booking ID.
Our team checks the review against the booking record. Only once verified does it count toward the supplier's Adoure Mark.

Client Assurance Programme
It's rare — but if a serious dispute arises, you can log it with the Client Assurance Programme. We pause the booking, which holds any scheduled, not-yet-charged payments, give your supplier a right of response, and aim to come back to you within 10 working days.
Adoure offers advice, a neutral space to talk, and a documented record — not insurance, and no power to compel either party. Your contract with the supplier and your rights under UK consumer law remain the final word. Once a case is resolved and both sides confirm, the outstanding balance remains due under your agreement.
